Tyrion was brought to the shelter when his previous owner passed away. He is a nice boy who needs some confidence building and basic obedience refreshers with his new owner to help him get comfortable handling novel situations and surroundings. Tyrion can be a little bit bossy with other dogs, so mutual visits with any other dogs in the home are strongly encouraged. Shelter staff believes that Tyrion is a mix of Doberman Pinscher and Weimaraner, which partially accounts for his interesting color and beautiful eyes. Tyrion also suffers from dry and dandruffy skin and a sparse haircoat; he will need to be on a special diet with fish oil supplements for life and to get regular baths with a sensitive skin shampoo. If you take Tyrion home, it will be important to form a relationship with your regular vet to make a plan to manage his skin condition. Ask an animal tender for more information!
